Project Introduction: On January 9, 2018, Beihang University and the National Civil Aviation University of France signed a memorandum of cooperation at the Great Hall of the People. The two universities will jointly establish a Sino foreign cooperative university, the Sino French University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. China France University of Aeronautics and Astronautics will adhere to the educational positioning of "high level, new mechanism, and internationalization", cultivate interdisciplinary and innovative talents, carry out cutting-edge scientific research and key technological breakthroughs, and strive to build a world-class university with a modern university system and a future oriented outlook. The university campus is adjacent to the core area of the world cultural heritage site of Liangzhu Culture, with beautiful mountains and clear waters and pleasant ecology. The campus plan covers an area of 1500 acres and is expected to be completed and delivered in 2023.
